The Issue
Schools in Fairfax County, Virginia, are indoctrinating middle school children with “gender identity” ideology. Trans-activists and the NAACP are currently putting pressure on the school board to adopt a uniform policy affirming the “gender identity” of trans-identified students. Currently, each school in the system handles issues involving trans-identified students on a case by case basis.
What You Can Do
Email and/or call school board members telling them NOT to adopt a uniform policy affirming the “gender identity” of trans-identified students and providing them with alternative resources (script and contact info below).

Dear Fairfax County School Board member,
I am gravely concerned about FCPS adopting a uniform policy that affirms the “gender identity” of trans-identified students and about FCPS teaching a curriculum based on “gender identity” ideology. “Gender identity” is an amorphous term that has no factual basis in science or biology. We expect you to educate children with sound science, not ideology.
Instead of adopting a uniform policy that affirms the “gender identity” of trans-identified students, I urge you to use this guide in school policy: Transgender Trend Resource Pack for Schools: Supporting Gender Non-Conforming and Trans-Identified Students in School. Page 4 of this guide states: “We provide research‑based evidence and alternative strategies which will help teachers to best support not only the child who identifies as transgender but all children who defy gender and sex-role stereotypes.”
This Resource Pack provides a compassionate and inclusive guide which encompasses not only the needs of trans-identified and gender non-conforming students, but all students. It was written for schools in the UK, but the principles and research-based information are universal and readily applicable to US schools.
Encouraging “transition” in students is dangerous and can cause life-long physical harm. I and some of my colleagues plan to notify several local news outlets that this is happening in Fairfax County, and encourage them to expose this. Parents deserve to know what their children are being taught.

Hello,
I am [NAME, LOCATION, IF YOU ARE A PARENT OF FCPS STUDENT]
I am gravely concerned about FCPS adopting a uniform policy that presents “gender identity” as fact. “Gender identity” has no factual basis in science or biology and affirming it as fact can lead to life-long physical and medical harm to students.
Instead, I urge you to use the Transgender Trend School Resource Pack. This guide provides compassionate and inclusive approaches which encompass not only the needs of trans-identified and gender non-conforming students, but all students.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
